Zabaglione w/ Fresh Strawberries Makes 4 Servings
Marsala Mixture
4 Egg Yolks
¼ Cup Sugar
¼ Cup Marsala
½ tsp vanilla
Cream Mixture
½ qt Heavy Cream
¼ Cup Sugar
½ tsp Vanilla Marsala Mixture
Strawberries and lady fingers to garnish
Marsala Mixture:
Put egg yolks, sugar, Marsala and the vanilla in sauce pan over a low heat. Simmer over a low heat, while constantly whisking, until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and let cool.
Cream Mixture:
In a kitchen mixer, add heavy cream, sugar and vanilla. Start at a low speed and gradually speed up until whipped. Fold in Marsala Mixture.
Put whipped mixture into a glass and garnish with fresh strawberries and lady fingers.
Serve and enjoy!
